Sparkling
ARDENGHI 2020 Prosecco Treviso DOC Brut Millesiamato 11.5% ALC
“Millesimato” indicates that a sparkling wine is produced with grapes from a single vineyard, as in not often the case with Prosecco. At Ardenghi, the grapes are hand harvested upon peak aromatic ripeness, always natural fermentation. A delight!

FIORE PODERE SAN BIAGIO 2022 Vino Rosato Frizzante DOC 12% ALC Lazio
This lightly sparkling rose is produced in Montepulciano with tart red berry and sour cherry fruit notes with bright citrus acidity and a hint of herbs. This is a Natural wine, free of herbicides, pesticides, and no added sulfates. This bad boy is FUN, its aged in clay amphoras, and is way drier than it looks. Enjoy.

THERESA ECCHER – Alizee Etna DOC. 2018 13% ALC Sicily
Grown in the elevation on the northern slope of the world’s most active volcano, Mt Etna. Close your eyes and enjoy the perfume that will transport you to a mountain side of yellow flowers, grass and citrus. The indigenous Carricante and Cataratto blend prove a unique and rich palette with a clean, dry finish.

DI BELLA - Terre Siciliane 2021 Catarratto 12.5% ALC Sicily
Cattarratto is a more forgotten variety of Sicilian grape, and finds its home smack dab in the center of the island. This Catarratto is hand harvested in small crates. This wine has floral aromas like citrus fruits, aromatic herbs, chamomile, and a HEAVY apricot. Wonderfully complex with good acidity, salinity with a kiss of tannin. The palate is refreshing, and savory with a crisp finish.

PODERE SAN BIAGIO Pecorino DOC 13% ALC Lazio
This dude is known in Lazio for using local ancient grape varietals. He is spearheading a movement to stop the homogenous varietals, and give another life to long forgotten and endangered local grape varieties. Hand harvested in small crates, this Pecorino has strong aromas of jasmine, and lemon blossom followed by flavors of apricot and dry fruit. A light mineral edge with a SHARP, slightly spicy finish. It’s a natural wine that is spontaneously fermented (no added yeast), a one week maturation on the skins gives its distinct color.

PALAZZO TRONCONI 2021 Zi’tore IGP 13.5% ALC
Zi’Tore is the winemaker Marco Marrocco’s homage to his grandfather, Salvatore and his sidekick donkey. The fruit is generous and plush, leaning on tart with sour cherry, plum, and an earthy pine note. A mid-summer romp in the forest. Marco is known for using ancient grape varietals, and his biodynamic farming methods. No Clarification, no filtration, and no sulfites added.

CASCINA ALBERTA 2020 Barbera D’alba DOC 14.5% ALC Treviso
Barbera’s are known for versatility. This wine boasts a bouquet of cherry, blackberry, and other red fruits. It is a beautifully clean, slightly dry…a pleasure on the palate. Cascina Alberta remains true to its roots with harvesting done by hand and baskets. The Easy drinking red, fantastic with anything from pizza to steak.

BACONE 2021 Nebbiolo DOC 14% ALC Piemonte
Nebbiolo is a full bodied wine with a delicate smell and robust tannins. This special wine has a ruby
red color, notes of cherry and plum, with floral notes like rose and violet. Pairs well w red sauces and
red meat. My go to if I want a nice heavy wine.

MILLAMI 2021 Il Folle DOC 12.5% ALC Sicily
Its name literally taken from a love story (Layla e il Folle), it’s hard not to fall for Folle. Grown 200M from the coast is a classic red. Notes on the nose are cherry, raspberry, and herbs, with tannins that are soft but lightlymelt off the tongue. A clean, mild, yet fruitful wine sure to pair with your favorite dish. PSA this is a natural and unfiltered wine, there is a ton of sediment, which I grew to love.

THERESA ECCHER - PASSIONE Etna Rosso DOC 2018 14% ALC Sicily
The nutrient rich soil around Sicily’s Mount Etna is quickly becoming some of the most sought out land for grape growers. This Sicilian red features rare grapes Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grown inelevation on the northern side of the volcano. A unique wine, beautiful in color and fragrance. Like Sicily…simple yet complex. The product of its magical climate, and vocanic soil. Mountains, gardens, nature and sea. This wine reminds me of nature, and tastes of volcanic soil.
